Description: Appearing annual, at most biennial. Stem ascending to upright, .7m. Leaf blade round to reniform, crenate, wavy edged, shallowly lobed. Inflorescence flowers 1-3 in axils; peduncle ca 1.5 length of calyx; bractlets irregularly fused to calyx in lower 1/2, upper always free, ovate. Flower calyx enclosing fruit; petals 11-12 mm, +- pink and near white, veins dark. Fruit/seed dark brown, wedge-shaped, glabrous, net-veined to pitted on back, outer edges sharp.
