Description: Plants are robust, almost appearing perennial. To .9m; some light branching at base, otherwise strongly erect. Leaves to 3.5 cm, .6 cm wide, broadly lanceolate, abaxially puberulent, esp. on new growth. Inflorescence terminal and dense. Sepals long acuminate, tapering, to +- 1.5 cm, reflexed in flower. Flower petals to 2 cm, dusty lavender pink, +- uniform in color, no spotting. Stigma, dark maroon, exerted well above anthers. Fruit appressed to stem, ribbed, hairy.
