Habitat: Burned in Fall 2020 Silverado Fire. Annual understory in mesic, semi-shaded disturbed trailside.
Description: Plant generally 30-40cm. Stem/leaf bases bleeding milky sap. Leaf lanceolate, acute, pinnately margined, somewhat appresed to nstem. Flower ligules pale yellow. Pappus tan/straw colored, large, two segmented with break ca 60-70% from base, fragile.
Reproductive Condition: Flowering and fruiting

Notes: Common in area.
