Description: Single plant with many long vines rambling along ground and up woody shrubs. Several male flowers, no fruit. Annual, climbing and running on soil, vines to 4+m, stems prickly villous; many tendrils, glabrous. Petiole ca 10-20 cm, prickly hirsute; blade white-mottled abaxially, depressed-ovate, 3–5 lobed of varying depths, 20 x 25 cm, base cordate, leaF surfaces hirsute. Peduncles ribbed. Sepals long, linear narrow, acuminate, corolla large, golden/mustard colored.
