Habitat: Growing along ridge and on east-facing slope in native grassland patch surrounded by mixed coastal sage scrub and chaparral.
Substrate: Clay soils.
individual.ASSOCIATED_TAXA: Dudleya muldicaulis, Eriogonum fasciculatum, Bromus rubens, Festuca perennis, Isocoma menziesii, Stipa pulchra, Primula clevelendi.
Description: Erect stems, to 0.4 meters tall, flowers purple.
Notes: Uncommon, only 4 blooming here out of 25 plants, more plants ca 80 meters to south.
