Habitat: Grassland to coastal sage scrub. Roadside and trailside.
Reproductive Condition: Flowering
Notes: Small, concentrated colony over 18 sq. meters. Originally detected by James Bailey. Plants in bloom but probably not yet reproductive. Between San Juan Trail across fence and on Caltrans property. C. melitensis innvicinity. None found to 200 m N on either side of SR74. Needs urgent management. Most plants small. Single Patch; 150 plants; Calflora ID: mu6044
