Habitat: Upper alluvium of cobbly/ rocky soil.
Description: Originally detected by Jonathan Frank. Isolated colony of approximately 15 plants of various ages and sizes. Largest 1.5m by 2m wide and woody at the base. Estimating 4-5 years of age, perhaps more. One plant isolated another .16 mi further NNE up trail. Plants in good bloom, with seed and fruit. 12 plants counted, but likely more. Originally assumed as S. quadridentatus, this specimen was redetermined by John Manning (Kirstenbosch BG, RSA) and Marinda Koekemoer (National Herbarium, Pretoria, RSA) as S. angustifolius.
