Habitat: Brown silty loam, open grassy area near edge of dry natural drainage ditch. Surrounding vegetation, Bromus diandrus, Centaurea meletensis, Nasella pulchra, Ambrosia pumila.
Description: Perianth tube ca. 15 mm long, pale yellow-green. Perianth lobes ca. 20 mm purple, veins brownish, 3 staminodes, whitish, free part 5 mm, lance ovate, apex acute to accuminate or 2-3 toothed. Long scape with umbel inflorescence.
