Based on location description and my knowledge of the ecology of the species, my best guess for the collection location is ~ Lat. 35.772307, Lon. -120.155936. Juniperus californicus zone.

Possibly still extant. Habitat still exists east of Cottonwood Pass, all the way to the valley floor.
