Habitat: Coastal Sage Scrub with a recent burn (Summer 2001) Rocky, sandy and loamy soil due to fire. Immediate area surrounded by rocks. In general area Malosma laurina is observed, along with Erodium sp., Rhamnus crocea, Dichelostemma capitatum, and Rhus integrifolia. 10-15 degree slope, N. facing.
Description: Herb. Calyx red-maroon to L. green, dull. Dull green leaves with spots of maroon, especially near top of plant
