Habitat: Rich, dark, silty soil with gravel. Apex of hill. Slope ca. 45 degrees, N facing , shaded but exposed. Open Malosma laurina, Ceanothus tomentosus, Open Salvia apiana, Mimulus aurantiacus, Open Erodium sp. grasses meadow community.
Description: Annual herb, 20-30 cm tall, purple-pink corolla with yellow and dark pink and ourple nectar guides, leaves and stem pubesceent.
