Habitat: Brown, silty loam. Slight north-facing slope, exposed. Sparse Eriogonum fasciculatum + Isocoma menziesii scrub / mixed herb (Bromus madritensis ssp. rubens, B. diandrus, B. hordeaceus, Erodium botrys, Centaurium melitensis)
Description: Perennial herb, ca. 15 cm tall. Perianth tube ca. 15 mm long, pale yellow-green. Perianth lobes ca. 20 mm long, purple, veins brownish. Staminodes 3, whitish, free part 5 mm long, lance-ovate, apex acute to acuminate or 2-3 toothed, base slightly.
