Habitat: Annaul growing next to Eriogonum fasciculatum, Avena sp., and Artemesia californica. Found in dry area of sand.
Description: Flowers bright yellow with glabrous stems. Phyllaries come to narrow tip at end. Pappus are lanceolate, few, and slightly shorter in length to the corolla.
