Habitat: Growing from under large, granite boulders exposed to open, intermittent stream at base of north facing slope. Surrounded by closed chaparral to south (up slope). Malsoma laurina/ Ceanothus tomentosus.
Description: Low perennial herb. Leaves grey-green to whitish due to dense, white trichomes adaxially, white to tan due to very dense, whie to tan villous trichomes abaxially.
