Habitat: Pond basin on dry to somewhat moist silty soil in mixture of herbaceous seasonal wetland and freshwater marsh communities being invaded by upland species. Associated with Erigeron canadensis, E. sumatrensis, Echinochloa crus-galli, Persicaria lapathifolia, Rumex stenophyllus, & Schoenoplectus californicus.
Reproductive Condition: Fruiting
Notes: Erect perennial, stems 0.8 meters tall. Uncommon.
