Habitat: Pond basin on dry silty soil in mixture of herbaceous seasonal wetland and freshwater marsh communities being invaded by upland species. Associated with Crypsis schoenoides, Erigeron canadensis, Rumex stenophyllus, & Schoenoplectus californicus.
Reproductive Condition: Flowering
Notes: Perennial, stems to 1.5 meters tall. Fairly common at south and north ends of basin. Site dry this year but usually inundated until late in the season.
