Habitat: Pond basin on dry silty soil in mixture of herbaceous seasonal wetland and freshwater marsh communities being invaded by upland species. Associated with Crypsis schoenoides, Erigeron canadensis, Rumex stenophyllus, & Schoenoplectus californicus.
Reproductive Condition: Flowering
Notes: Annual, decumbent to erect, fls. white. Locally common on small patch of alkaline seepy clay (dry now) on west border of basin.
