Habitat: Burned coastal sage scrub with Nassella pulchra, Dichelostemma capitata, Lotus scoparius, Calystegia macrostegia, Salvia mellifera (seedling), Eriogonum fasciculatum (seedlings).
Description: On ridge line above Upper Shady Canyon. Site is located 640 meters N of the Shady-Camarillo Canyon Road junction and 1.5 kilometers West of Laguna Cyanyon Road. Burned coastal sage scrub. Associated with Nassella pulchra, Dichelostemma capitata, Lotus scoparius, Calystegia macrostegia, Salvia mellifera (seedling), Eriogonum fasciculatum (seedlings). Perennial herb 52 cm. tall, flowers greenish-yellow w/purple band, upper margin ciliate. Bulb fibrous. plants found on Cieneba rock outcrop complex. 48 plants observed. Intermediate mariposa lily.
